just a quick blog.

i chatted with a friend and topic went to being independent. yup. i'm all alone in the hotel right now. nobody will cook for me, wash the dishes, clothes, iron it, and clean the room. unlike in the phil where you dont have to do the dirty stuffs. hahaha.

i said, it's hard. but you can get used to it. and somehow, you enjoy life being independent. and no one tells you what to do. no one instructs you to do this or that. but you do it, because you have to.

life being independent is kinda hard, but you'll enjoy it. the freedom.

you'll get homesick. but you'll get used to it.

even for just 2.5 months, i have to enjoy this.

bought my first lens (aside from the lens kit) - canon EF 50mm 1.8 II

this morning, went to hidalgo.

i arrived there at 9.30am. whoah. so early. coz the photoshops open at around 10-11am. awts. so tambay lang sa gilid ng SM. at 10 am. went inside sm. tingin tingin lang. then at 10.30am went to the stores. i asked at henry's how much is their 50mm. they told me 3.6kphp. so i look for the other open store which is avenue, they told me 3.8kphp. awts. 200php higher.

so i decided to wait until mayer and watson will open up. tambay ulit sa sm. after several minutes. went back and inquire at watsons. they do not have that kind of lens. awts. so i went to mayer. they told me that it's out of stock. awts.

so i went back to henry's and told them that i will purchase the 3.6kphp lens that they have. they have no stock so they instructed one of their saleslady to go to avenue to get the lens. but she was told that they dont have anymore. awts. the guy from henry's told me. "usually d na nila ibibigay yan, nakapag inquire ka na sa kanila, gusto nila, dun mo kunin."

i have no choice but to purchase the 3.8kphp lens. awts. wah! luge ako ng 200php. hehehe.

so i bought it. went home. do some test shots inside my room.

boi. no regrets purchasing that item. worth it mehn.

i will bring this one on my trip to ilocos to accompany my family in attending a wedding.

updates - march 30, 2008

well.

last holyweek. spent it at our province at bulacan. there are two events last sunday. one is the graduation of my niece, ezra and the other one is the baptism of my cousin jayjay. just ate at ninong ronnie's hauz. videoke and went back to makati.

for the this week, tried to post process all of my pending photos, the pics from the amc teambuilding, lago de oro, tagaytay and other stuffs included in that event. then pp'ed the photos last sunday. uploaded the graduation of ezra and the pics of the kids at the church and my bro. the pics for jayjay's baptism to be uploaded on monday. :D

practiced volleyball last wednesday. had some exercise. rusty and need more practice for the AVL league. company's volleyball league. well, need to be back in shape. :{

this saturday, had two games. 3pm, we played football at san beda college. AFL. our company's football league. so tiring. hahaha. first half, was able to shot a few but did not went through the goal and the other try was caught by the opponent's goalie. whahahaha... nice try... but our team has a lot of shots. but no goal for that part.

2nd half, there was this time that the ball went outside and i throw it in to mark, he was able to carry it forward on the right side, then pass to the center, then andrew was able to shot our first goal. the 2nd goal went immediately after that. mv was able to breakaway and go one on one with the goalie, then he shot it furiously. hahaha. as in todo taga. bombit. hehehe. well that's the only goals we had. the opponent had some few tries but was not able to score. due to their lack of players and they are already tired because of no subs. :D

we won. 2-0.

after that. took a shower. then we ate at kfc. after that, i went straight to club 650 for our volleyball game for 7pm. ouch. "lagare". hehehehe.

arrived there in time. and was able to do some warm ups.

first set, we lost. due to our errors and lack of coordination and lack of practice and many more. there are many factors. hahaha. gelling of the team also. hehehe. second set. we lost again. hahaha. i think it's due to wrong combination of players inside the court. i want to play in that round coz i believe we can win that round. but i did not voiced it our coz, i'm not the team captain and not in charge of inserting players on the court. and another thing is, sabit lang ako sa team na yun. former project kasi. wah. we lost again. :( third set. i'm in the court. hehehe. but sadly, the players that we had are those who haven't played yet. so third stringer players. but luckily, the match is not that bad. when the opponent had scored a few more points, we substitute our best players. heehehe... but still. due to lack of coordination and errors. we still lost. wahhh! :( hahaha... well. not bad. coz the opponent is pretty good and you can say that they prepared for that game, coz they know their positions and they have plays. me quick set pa nga. d nga lang nakukuha nung quicker yung bola. hehehhe. they have only one setter. so they know who to give the ball to. so that's it. there are points for improvement. and sadly to say. this will be my last game, maoonshore kasi. awww... :((

after that. took a shower. some chitchats with jc, erwin and drew. it's jc's bday so manlilibre sya. unfortunately, d ako pede. coz i will go to landmark para sunduin c me.

then went to landmark. sablay yung gulong ko. awt. flat. i parked at anson's. then went to see me. then we looked for a hardware to buy a manual air pump. we went to parksquare. the hardware was already closed. wah. so we looked for the sports/adventure/hiking shop. we found an air pump. purchased it and off we went to take our dinner.

ate at max, ordered sago't gulaman. botomless. lugi sila sa kin. was able to consume more than five servings i think. hahaha. uhaw na uhaw kasi sobra. was not able to drink ample amount of water during the football and volleyball game. hehehe.

ordered, sinigang na hipon, half spring chicken and 2 rice, one for each of us. me ordered hot calamansi juice coz she still have coughs and colds. :D busog.

then we went back to the parking lot at anson's. wah. flat na flat yung gulong ko. ouch. so i used the air pump that we bought. and was able to increase the air inside my tire. wah then we went to the nearest gas station to check the tire. then went home.

rest a few hours at me's haus. naglatag na sa baba. sa sala. then tulog ako dun. c me sa upuan. then after having enough rest. uwi n ko sa haus. d na ko inantok. eto. nag cocomputer pa rin.

pp'ed the pics. played some dota with ai. surf the multiply. accessed my facebook. and right now. blogging.

so that's it for now.

weekend ride / amc team building at lago de oro

whooah...

had a great ride this weekend. it was our moto club's team building in lago de oro. so we went there using our motorcycles.

lago de oro is in calatagan batangas, a 3-5 hours travel.

some of the members rode the bus while 19 of us used our own bikes. first time to have this kind of big group long ride. since i'm one of the squad, i was assigned to be one of the ride marshals. we took C5 from CG then to south service road then at alabang, daang hari, then to tagaytay.

stopped at tagaytay, gas refill, had some pictures taken then went to batangas. going down there. we broke the line coz many of us want to speed up because of the open road. so our speed ranges from 90 - 120++. hahaha. too fast. for me, i just maintain it from 90 - 100++. need to be cautious coz i dont want to encounter any accidents.

we stopped that the intersection in nasugbu to wait for the others. then after that, we went straight to the resort. (had one stop at shell to refill our gas tanks)

then at the resort. our bags were left in the bus and the bus already gone.
they called the bus and fortunately they went back to give our bags.

arrived at 2 or 3pm. ate our lunch. gathered. then went straight to the wake boarding area.

it's my first time to do this kind of sport. so something new to me. hehehe. it's water skiing mehn. awesome. but then, i just hit the first turn and then after that. the 1 hour is over. wah.

after that. played some 4on4 volleyball. then swimming in the pool. then swimming on the beach. after that, showered, changed clothes.

we gathered. had some introductions. we were 54 in the team building. so it was a long introduction for all of us. hahaha. while the group intro is going, i'm taking shots of the sunset. so wait for them. i think, it's a nice shot. hehehe. after the intro, we announce the groupings and then had a couple of team games.

after that, dinner. then we gathered them up again. for the remaining team building activities. they had the group yell. hehehe. some were good. some were not. eheheh.
another games. after that. drinking session na. hehehe.

kulitan with the core and squad inside the room. joking to one another and forcing two of our members to confess their love for each other, but we failed. they just told us that what they have right now is just platonic love. they are only friends. whoah. hahaha.

then videoke. then some chitchats with the other guys. then. shutdown. slept.

woke up around 7 or 8am. breakfast. then wakeboarding again.

i tried using the wake boards. yesterday, they let us used the knee board. so a different level of water skiing. at a first glance you might think that it's so easy. but it's not. so difficult. another set of instructions. was not able to stand using the boards. always crashing in the water as soon as i get the ropes. hahaha. will try it the next time. (planning to return on this place... hahaha...)

then. showered. packed up. then prepared to go home.

while packing up, we watched the paquiao - marquez II match and good to know that manny won. hahaha. saw manny knocking up marquez round 3. but i must agree that marquez nearly won that match because of the punches/counter punches that he gave to paquiao. but the knock down left a lasting impression on the judges. good thing he won. by just one point. a split decision.

well... after that we assembled and we go home. stopped at tagaytay to have our lunch. the place and food was nice. we saw some of apc members. coz they have a photo ops and they had their lunch there.

after that. went home. we took the zapote road. then airport road. then edsa. took ayala, while the group went straight back to GT. went home. had som rest. took a nap.

shower. then went to church 7pm service. so tired and sleepy already. but me wants me to go to their office so that we would be together in going to their home.

i fetched her at the mrt station. dinner. took some rest then went home.

that's it for my weekend. hehehe. :)

review - 10,000 b.c.

a story 10,000 B.C. about a tribe of hunter who hunts mammoth for their food for all the year round. the one who carries the white spear is the leader of the tribe, he is the one usually responsible for killing the mammoth.

it starts with a girl named evolet, she is an orphan, she said that her tribe was killed by four legged demons. the elder of the hunter's tribe made a prophecy that whoever will kill the mammoth will marry her and will lead the tribe to a new future.

meanwhile, d'leh is the son of the tribe's leader (the one who carried the white spear, who left their tribe in order to look for food). his father left the white spear to his friend and said to take care of d'leh.

after few years, they were already grown ups, the mammoths arrived and accidentally, d'leh killed the mammoth. He got the spear and evolet. but he was guilty becoz he did not really killed the mammoth. so he returned the spear.

the four legged demons attacked their tribe and they kidnapped evolet. and the adventure begins...

it's for you to watch... hehehehe...

well. i was amazed by the story, the plot was nice and the actions were great. you can see the love of d'leh to evolet. and his courage to fight for his love and for his tribe. also you can see the goodness in his heart.

there was a scene where he freed a sabretooth tiger. but eventually, he was not harmed by it... cool..

there are twists in the story and you really don't know what will happen next.

the build up of the character of d'leh is nice. you can see from a coward, he will discover his strengths and that he is a son of a great man. so was he.

he is the hunter, the enemy is afraid of... hehehe.

i encourage anyone to watch the movie. a great one.

football weekend

last saturday. played football.

we started it with 8 players against 11 players. wah.. so tiring..
at first i run and run and run. but i'm already out of gas. hahaha.
then finally. other guys are coming. so we completed few minutes before the break.

good thing was no one scored in the first half of the game.

2nd half, the passing was great which led to a goal by mv. the defense was tight the the opponent was not able to goal on us. but unfortunately, jez committed a "hand-ball" foul, so there was a penalty kick.

the opponent was able to score, because of the penalty.

after that. we executed out offense again, pass here, pass there. andrew was able to score another one. thank you.

ended up with a 2-1 score. and we won. thank you Lord.

wassup with me?
not been able to blog for a month. so many things happened.
just trying this out, coz i cannot blog in my blogspot. so here am i in my multiply. doing the writing.

news? will not be able to go to canada by march. the flight is moved on the 2nd week of april. because of technicality issues. like the product is still not stable and the intention of us going there is to actively participate in the design phase of the release. if by march, we will do nothing there. so the onshore assignment will be moved.

went to panagbenga last feb. pictures are uploaded in my multiply account.

took pics of my pug. darren.

will be playing football tomorrow. hope we can win. :)

pug pug pug

went to cartimar this morning. looked for a pug puppy.

then saw a few. one of them is a female. then i ask some questions. this pup. so kulit. malambing. and like. she wants to go with me. hehehe. i asked for the price. and the seller said that she can make it lower. then i said i'll try to look to the other stores. then i txted. one of the contact breeder and i asked if he can lower his price (i'm negotiating with him, thinking to buy his dog or this pup in cartimar. a friend of mine refer him to me). he still said no. so i think and think and think. tinatamad na kong bumalik pa and baka mabili pa sya ng iba.

so when the time i am about to ride the jeep going home. i decided to buy the pup. texted the store owner and said that i'll just get some cash from the atm. so i went back. bought it. and presto. i have a new pup.

based on the papers. her name is darren of the golden dreamer. what a name. is that the way you name a pug dog? hehehe. but it's ok for me to call her darren.

she's so playful. makulit. malambing and basta... loves ko na tong dog na to. i still have a month to take care of her. coz i'll be returning to canada for 2 months.

i still need to do some research about how to take care of darren. if you have some advices. just tell me. ok. or how to teach her some dog tricks. :D

january. wazzup!?!?

been weeks since my last update. so what's up with me now?

played basketball at tuesday nights. twice already. and so good to be back playing basketball... it's free so i just played. with my previous project mates and also with ry and ayeth.

havent played badminton and soccer and futsal though. still not able. hahaha. one game at a time. hehehe.

watched eureka seven. sleepless nights. 5am sleeping time. because of the addiction to this anime series. oh well. i'm done with it. i'll lend it to my friend on monday. the story? nice. a mecha anime. just like gundam. the plot was nice. and it's about wars, reality, friendship, love, puppy love, family, saving the planet and a whole lot more. it's about a boy who just wanted to ref not knowing that there is a great challenge in store for him. he's a son of a hero. a scientist king. or something. and a grandson of a great mechanic. hehehe. he was to deliver the amita drive to nirvash to awaken it's capability. and from there on. the story begins. the pilot of nirvash is eureka. a mysterious girl and at the end you will see who she is. that's it. no more spoilers. hehehe. just watch the anime. ratings? it can be rated 4/5. can be rated along with the gundam seed and destiny.

anyway. that's all for today coz i still need to review. i'll have a pre cert exam on monday. it's a retake coz i failed the first pre cert exam. hope i pass this time.

i'm just glad that i'm connected right now to the net using my phone.
last night. i tried to install the nokia pc suite and was able to connect using joni's N73 phone. and when i went home tonight. i said to myself. why not try my phone in connecting to the net. and it works. wOw. i dont need to buy a new phone just to be connected to the net. :D whoooh! menos gastos. :d

first week of jan08

first week in the office. still in the transition. still setting up our environment. our codes. so. still in the time where you can have some idle times.

last friday. went to the house of jenica. a former project mate. we went there to have a get together with my friends from my previous project. also a celebration of sol's bday. and a despedida to glenn becoz she will be rolling off to another project. food. videoke. chitchats. surf the net. watched youtube. laugh. and enjoy each other's company. this will just be the time to do it coz most of us are no linger part of cat project. did some dancing. hahaha. stayed until morning. went home. took some rest.

wake up around afternoon by 3pm. bought a tnt load. fix my mc. bought a burger at bm. met noel and his gf. prepare myself. went to me's office. joined her and her office mates in platinum. dinner. videoke again. hahaha. then went home.

that's my update for this week. hopefully. next week will be great. :D
