woke up 6am. ate breakfast. prepared in going to church.
before going to church. distribution of gifts. it's fun giving. :D
attended the church. sermon is about christmas but not an ordinary christmas sermon. the preacher first talked about the lepers who discovered something during the time of elisha when there was a famine in the land of israel. they found food. and everything from the enemy's camp. and at first they want to hide it. but then again, they thought that it is such a good news that they want to share it to others.
another thing is that. christmas is the time where in all the impossibilities can be possible through God. talk about miracles. about the zechariah and elizabeth. it's impossible for them to have a child. for mary, to have a child out of wedlock.
the preacher also shared some of his past experience. about his applications to US visa that has been turned down all the time. but also has the desire to go to the church of the hillsongs band. such a great story.
i remembered my story. about me. being able to go to canada. it started with a dream. in my dream, it says that i am in canada. and then. after some months. i was selected to be sent to canada in my work. also talking about how i got all my papers. the amex card i just got it a week before we go there. and also the canadian visa. such miracle and the fact that the stay there was such an enjoyable one. i thank God for that.
this christmas and after this holiday. the preacher told the congregation that. just trust God all your prayers. and all those impossibilities may be possible. through Him.
also. if we. as christians already experiencing such blessings from God. we have the chance to share it to others. talk about evangelism.
evangelism. like what the preacher told us. is like a beggar telling another beggar where to get a food. yeah. we all are like beggars. but once we found the source of all things. what should we do? share it to others. :D
and another thing is. the only thing that you cant do when you go to heaven is that. you wont be able to evangelize anymore... :D

merry christmas!
watched the golden compass last saturday. almost every feedback that i heard was that the movie is not good, it is "bitin" and it's not fun to watch at all. for me, i enjoyed the movie, for the fact that it is about people having their own daemon. an animal living side by side them and they can feel what the daemon feels. and the story is not that bad. i enjoy it coz, i'm a dog lover. thinking that i have a daemon dog is a nice idea. hahaha. having one of my dogs as my daemon would be cool. and i think it's great.the story, hmmm. i admire the kid for her bravery, courage and wit. "madiskarte". resourceful i think.
now.i'm here at bulacan. celebrating the holidays with my family and relatives. my uncles, cousins, titas. hehehe. right now. there's supposed to be a dinner at 12am. but sadly to say no one is awake, except me of course. i'm a little bit sleepy na rin. but i just want to make an entry on my blog.
i hope. everyone will enjoy the holidays.

i'm back
yep. i'm back. but it took me a long time to blog again.
reasons:
blogger is blocked in the office.
i have no personal computer. i'm just using my sister's.
after a week of adjustment. still feeling sleepy at 6pm.
when i arrived. i decided to eat all the foods that i missed. lol.
still not able to go to bulacan. for the reason that i need to review for the scjp exam.
thank God that i pass the pre qualification exam. by God's grace.
need to review for the final mock exam and if i pass it (monday). i'll take the scjp exam on tuesday. wOw. it seems that i have a short time preparing and cramming for the exam.
after a long time not able to play dota. i'm back. dota addict again. for now, for the reason that i have friends that i can play with again. rusty at first. but i'm going back to my game again. wOw. addict.
attended a christmas party of my previous project. and i enjoyed it. it's a PJ party. pajama. lol. enjoyed the food. the party itself. and being with my friends in that previous project. so nice. after that went to giligans for just a round. some chitchats and then went home.
saturday. went to me's house. ate lunch. then we went to divisoria to buy some christmas stuff. so there. after a few minutes of walking around. and not buying anything. i decided that we go to the food court. eat some pansit guisado and just take a break. i list down all the names of the people that i need to give a present. but i decided not to anymore. they are too many. and thinking what to give them gives me a headache. so i just said that i'll just give them a money. lol. spent some few hours there.

malapit na.
malapit na kaming umuwi. next next sat eh uuwi na kami ng pinas. i miss home. my family. my love. hehehe. sempre d ko naman namiss work ko. kasi work naman ipinunta ko dito.
to give you an idea of what we went through for the times na hindi ako nakapagblog. after a weekend na walang gala. pumunta kami ng toronto downtown. nagkita kami ni sha anne. kaklase ko nung hayskul sa pcu. inilibot nya kami sa downtown. punta kami sa spadinah. ang china town version / divisoria ng toronto. mga chinese products, mga pirated dvds. mga damit. mga imitation clothings. mga souvernirs. nakabili ako ng magnets and key chains. and alam ko. onti lang nabili ko. kinakantyawan kasi ako ni rod na anyaman ko naman daw. onti an ko lang daw. then dedma na lang sa mga taong manghihingi ng pasalubong. hahaha. kasalanan ko bang marami akong friends? or marami akong "feeling close" friends. kunwari close kami pero d naman. hahaha. pero sa totoo lang. marami talaga akong friends. and nakakahiya kung wala akong maibibigay na pasalubong. hmmm. sa duty free na lang cguro. tsokoleyts na lang. hahaha.
nga pala. sa downtown. merong street car na tinatawag. isa itong train na dumadaan mismo sa kalsada ng downtown. street car daw ito. eto pic nya. hehehe. so sa paggala namin sa downtown. sumasakay kami dito.
then after spadinah. punta naman kami sa orfus. na kung saan bagsak presyo ang mga clothing. factory price. parang factory outlet sa atin. mga jackets and mga signature clothings where you can buy it for 50% less. but the point is. malapit na kaming umuwi ni rod. so it doesnt make sense to buy pa. tiis na lang sa lamig. hehehe. then. dahil hapon na at d pa kami nananangahalian. kumain kami ng hotdog. ang hotdog na ito ay sikat daw dun. pagkaing kalye. na kung saan. iihaw yung hotdog. ibibigay sa yo. then bahala ka na sa mga kasama nito. me onions. mayo. pickles. ketchup. at kung anu ano pa. as in. bahala ka. pero yum yum. sarap. pamatid gutom. ayus. sogbu.
after that. balik kami sa downtown. yung orfus kasi. outside sya ng downtown. then dahil nga d pa kami nag lulunch. trineat kami ni sha anne sa isang japanese resto na kung saan eat all you can. dami naming inorder. shrimp tempura. beef teriyaki. chicken teriyaki. california roll. rice. salmon. ayus. hay. bundat. salamat sha. hehehe. astig.
then. punta kami sa apartment nila sha. bday kasi ng isa sa kanyang housemate. haahha. big brothers house daw yung apartment nya. then. hayun. pinakilala nya kami sa mga kasama nya sa bahay. and marami pang pumunta. mga pinoy. kakatuwa. kwentuhan. kain. nuod kami ng tv habang iniintay yung iba pang guests. nuod ng RV, "bor@t" ang kulit. dun sa RV. oks yung movies. ayokong maging katulad ni robin williams na wlang time for the family. para lang maibigay ang luho nila. pero sana maging balance lang. dun sa "bor@t" naman. wala. puro kalokohan lang. yung movie na yun. ewan.
then hayun. nung dumating na yung mga tao. kain kami. hay. bundat na naman. then search kami sa internet kung pano kami makakapunta sa niagara. hehehe. then hayun. inom ng onti. kwentuhan. then tulog na.
meron nga pala silang aso. si athena. ito'y isang pug. hehehe. kakamiss tuloy mga aso ko. c magan at c ylmaz. hehehe. isang mix breed na aso at isang labrador. heehhe. nag kulit ni athena. at ang sarap kasama. hehehe. mukhang ok na aso yung mga ganun. maliit lang. so. madali lang ang maintenance. konti lng ihi. konti lang ang dumi. hehee. napaisip tuloy ako na bumili ng maliit na aso. hehehe. then meron din silang turtle. kalimutan ko name nung turtle. hehehe.
then kinabukasan. araw ng linggo. hay. d ako nakapagsimba. well, anyways. punta kami ng niagara. sa downtown. me sakayan dun papuntang niagara. then travel kami ng mga 1.5 hours. nadaanan namin yung st. catharine. meron daw kaming kamag anak dun. sabi ng tatay ko. hehehe. well. anong mgagawa ko. wala naman akong contact. and saglit lang kami. so niagara trip lang talaga. so pagdating sa niagara bus terminal. naglakad kami papuntang falls. picture picture. ayus. then. akyat kami dun sa taas. then kain kami ng lunch sa kelseys. panalo yung food namin. yung sa kin e eto. akin sempre yung may fries at steak. hihihi. busog.
pagkatapos kumain. picture picture ulit. then nung napagod. lakad na kami pabalik ng terminal. hay.. kapagod na. malamig pa. gabi na kasi. then uwi na.
buti naman at nakauwi kami ng haus.
kakaibang experience. i thank God kasi konti lang yung taong nabibigyan ng opportunity na makapunta sa mga lugar na ganito. such blessings and grace.
i just need to continue living under His grace. boast? hmm. i dont have the right to boast and lift up myself. what i do boast is what i believe in. and i boast that i know the living God whom i serve and i give glory.

saturday - wala lang
dito lang kami sa hotel. gising. hugas ng pinggan. ligo. laba. kain ng breakfast. internet. laba. nuod tv. kain. internet. laba. internet.
last monday. punta kami sa downtown toronto. lamig brhhh. oks lang. masaya naman. mas ok yung lugar na yun. panalo. akyat kami sa CN Tower ang taas. kakaibang experience. hehehe.
tapos daan kami sa air canada centre. ang lugar kung saan naglalaro ang Toronto Raptors. last sunday meron silang game vs celtics. sayang d kami nakapanuod.
tapos libot lang kami. napadaan kami dito. sa city hall.
tapos nakita din namin yung lumang city hall
tapos ikot lang kami. hehehe. dahil sa lamig din pala. napabili kami ng gloves. an lamig kasi sobra. pasok din kami ng eaton centre
ikot. tingin ng ipod touch. an lufet. ng ipod touch. meron na rin cyang wireless internet. at panalo yung features nya.
sa pag gala gala. nung napagod. umuwi na rin kami kagad. d na kami nagpagabi. pero nakaalis kami dun around 6pm.
yun lang muna.tntamad pa kong maglagay nung mga kuha ko. grinab ko lang sa wikipedia yang mga pictures na yan. nalagay ko na yung pix ko from multiply... hehehe. oks.

2nd week
malapit na kaming maka 2ndweek dito sa cn...
nag start na yung nba... so meron palang pinapalabas dito na nba channel... and shempre... iba ang pagbroadcast... kapag toronto ang may laro... high definition quality... astig... nanalo naman raptors so oks lang... hehehe...
ang nagiging routine ko na... pagdating ko ng haus... luto ng dinner... or kain na kagad ng dinner.... watch basketball... then ligo sa maiinit ng tubig sa tub... then tulog... cool d ba? hehehehe...

eto matatawag ko sa camera ko ngayun... gusto kong magtake ng pitures. kaso nahihiya ako... naiintimidate ako sa camera ko... hahaha... DSLR kasi... or nahihiya ako... or baka ano isipin ng iba... anak ng... wahh... nahihiya ako... tsk tsk tsk... kelan ba ko nahiya? makapal mukha ko d ba? wah... 8Gig pa naman memCard ko... tapos wala naman akong pinipicture-an...olats.... hayy... ala tuloy akong ma post sa multiply ko... nasaan na ang confidence? nasaan na ang guts? hayyy....

sunday - 4 degrees
brrrrhhh.... anlamig sa labas...
lumabas kami ng 12pm... kala ko mainit... kasi me araw... so nag short lang ako.... pero pag labas namin... grabe an lamig... kaya pala... eh nasa 5 degress kanina... wah... nag dry yung skin ko sa binti... huhuhuhu...
punta kami square one.... bumili c rod ng dvd... kelangan nya atang mag back up sa laptop nya... ako naman... bumili ako ng soccer ball na size 4... hahaha... d makatiis.. para me nalalaro ako... nga pla... nakabili na c rod ng laptop...
at ako... wah.... nakabili na ko ng canon 400d/xti wah... ang mahal... pero nakabili na ko... hahhaha... oks lang cguro...
then... punta kami ng grocery... namili ng food para sa isang linggo..
nakapaglaba na rin ako... no sweat... me washing machine at may drier... hehehe.. ayus...
then 6pm.. punta ako sa every nation church mississauga... attend ng church service... oks naman... mejo madaming pinoy... usually... mga immigrants cla... mga pamilya.. hehehehe... tinatanong ako kung gusto ko daw bang mag migrate dito... hehehe... tahimik lang ako... sabi ko... kelangan ko pang iuwi yung project na tinatransition sa min sa pinas..
pero d ko sinabi na ayaw ko... hehehe... gusto ko pa rin buhay sa pinas... kasama c me... at ang pamilya ko...
hahaha... napanaginipan ko naman lola ko... wahh.. bat ganun... kinukulam ata ako.. hehehe... joke lang.. miss ko lang cguro c ina... d kasi ako nag-uuuwi ng bulakan eh... tapos umalis ako.. biglaan pa... hahaha.. kulet...
oks. sa church... madaming pinoy sempre... and kakatuwa... may mga pinoy akong makakausap... aside from rod.. hehehe... oks... then me konting kainan kanina... merong may bday... spag, cake, at bread at cola.. so kumain ako... busog naman... tipid.. hehehe.. yun na dinner ko... then pagkatapos... instead of riding a bus papauwi... isinabay na ko ng isang couple... ambaet nila... sobra... so ibinaba ako sa hotel ko.. nagpasalamat naman ako... at diretso na ko dito sa internet-an...

at ako... wah.... nakabili na ko ng canon 400d/xti wah... ang mahal... pero nakabili na ko... hahhaha... oks lang cguro...
then... punta kami ng grocery... namili ng food para sa isang linggo..
nakapaglaba na rin ako... no sweat... me washing machine at may drier... hehehe.. ayus...
then 6pm.. punta ako sa every nation church mississauga... attend ng church service... oks naman... mejo madaming pinoy... usually... mga immigrants cla... mga pamilya.. hehehehe... tinatanong ako kung gusto ko daw bang mag migrate dito... hehehe... tahimik lang ako... sabi ko... kelangan ko pang iuwi yung project na tinatransition sa min sa pinas..
pero d ko sinabi na ayaw ko... hehehe... gusto ko pa rin buhay sa pinas... kasama c me... at ang pamilya ko...
hahaha... napanaginipan ko naman lola ko... wahh.. bat ganun... kinukulam ata ako.. hehehe... joke lang.. miss ko lang cguro c ina... d kasi ako nag-uuuwi ng bulakan eh... tapos umalis ako.. biglaan pa... hahaha.. kulet...

one week
after a lot of paputol putol na tulog, naka isang linggo na rin ako sa wakas dito sa cn. and may i say, 5 weeks to go. hehehe.
nways. the work was not that bad. set up of our workstations. install applications. read some materials. fixed a simple sir. a couple of functional and highlevel application overview. and some discussions. not bad. as what neil mentioned. it's like drinking in a fire hose. we need to grasp everything as much as we can so that when we come home we can establish a new team in manila. he also introduced as to a new tool. and we will be the one piloting the tool. about communications. well. i hope it will work. but there are no pressures to make it work.
mejo nakakaadjust na rin kahit papaano. and mejo nakakakuha naman ng sapat na tulog.
wake up early in the morning. to cook food. kung ano man ang kakainin sa lunch. hehehe. tipid tipid. para may maipon. kulet. toyo, suka, bawang, sibuyas pa lang yung main ingredients namin. then nakabili kami ng porkchop. so una. adobo ginawa ko. then sunod is marinated naman. so yun lang muna. hahaha. d na rin ako mashadong nakakain ng dinner. kasi pag dating ko sa hotel. i try to surf the net. then tulog na lng. hindi na ko nakakain ng dinner. kung magising ng madaling araw, kakain. kung hindi. wait for the breakfast na lang.
eto. maaga palagi nagigising. which is unusual. sa pinas kasi. late matulog, late gumising, late pumasok sa opis. at after opis, maraming activities. like badminton, futsal, basketball, futball at kung anu ano pa. i may say nakakamiss yun. pero wala akong magagawa. andito ako eh. suppress myself muna. tumingin nga ako ng bola ng soccer sa mall. hindi ako nakabili. mejo mahal. titingin ako sa ibang store. hehehe.
then kanina. nakapanuod ako ng business news. nagkukunwaring me alam. hahahaha. dati kasi nung pumunta mom ko dito. mas maliit ang value ng canadian dollar kesa sa usd. pero ngayun mas mahal na sya. 1 cad = .9xx usd. and mejo mahal talaga pala bilihin dito. and as a result. nung umangat ang value ng cad, hindi na nila maibaba ang presyo ng bilihin. pinapakiusapan pa nung dept of finance or something yung mga establishments to lower the price of their products. which is mahirap. parang pinas. tumataas ang value ng peso. pero hindi binababa ang presyo ng bilihin. d ko alam kung anong impact. pero ang result siguro eh. mahal ang bilihin, at wala akong mabiling stuff. waaaaahhhh. bibili sana ako ng camera dito. pero ang mahal. then bibili ako sana sa us, then papaship ko dito, pero mahal din. kasi me shipping cost and may mga taxes pa. hahaha. olats. well. still weighing out kung dito pa rin ba ako bibili or sa pinas na lang. hihihihi. hindi ko alam.
ano pa ba? wala lang. miss ko na pinas. pero keri pa naman. hehehe. i'll just enjoy my stay here. like me said, konti lang ang nabibigyan ng opportunity to go here. so yun. ieenjoy ko na lang and kwekwentuhan ko na lng kayo kung anuman ang maeexperience ko dito at kung anu yung mga adventures ko. dala ko naman yung s3is ko. so me makukuha pa rin naman akong pics. pagtyagaan na lang natin. malay nyo makabii ako ng camera next week. malay natin. ehhehehe. ayos? hhehehe.

so activities for today? maglalaba sa umaga. then gala sa hapon. samahan ko c rod sa best buy. titingin sya ng laptop. atat na atat na ring bumili yun ng laptop. kaso winiweigh din nya kung mura dito or mas mura sa pinas. hahaha. parehong kuripot. weh. hahaha. or hindi lang kami impulsive buyer. ahahha. whatever. basta. kuripot. period.
nobela na naman itong naisulat ko. wala kasing mapaglibangan dito. so kaya heto. ibinubuhos ang lahat sa blog. at kayo lang ang kausap ko. wala naman kasing kumakausap sa kin sa phone from pinas eh. huhuhuhu. drama. emo. oks. so dito ko na lang kayo kwekwentuhan.
and one more thing pa pala. etong statement na to napanuod ko sa interview with steve carell(40 yr old virgin) sa bago nyang movie - dan in real life. apply ko sa sarili ko.

friday night... dinner with my team mates sa project... sa north park...
oks naman... meron clang ibinigay sa kin... i appreciate it.. mga mini messages... mostly... nang aasar... at nanghihingi ng pasalubong pag uwi ko... hahhaha.. some where good messages... and inspiring..
after that... diretso ako kina me... last moment... sempre...
wala.. natulog lang.. antok na rin sya.. tulog sya sa sofa.. ako sa lapag... hahaha.. olats...
then...uwi na ko ng 3am... d n ko nakatulog... then... nagyaya c me na kumain ng breakfast... sa chowking.... hayun... kain kami... busog naman... then pasok na sya sa office... ako uwi muna ako..

buti mabait yung lalaki sa immigration... tinanong lang ako ng purpose ng stay... hinanap lang yung fly back ticket ko... then tanong sya na sagot daw ba ng company yung expenses namin... food, transpo... oo lang ako.. hehehe..
then kinuha namin baggage namin... buti naman at walang sira... ehehhee... then try kami magappalit ng dollars... olats... merong service charge na CAD$20... eh .9 lang ang isang USD... olats... sabi namin wag na lang...

ganda... malaki yung room... and oks na oks.. nga lang d ako makatulog... nyahaha... eto ata ang tinatawag na jetlag... 11pm na... pero sa manila is 11am... so gising na gising pa ko... nakatulog ako mga 1am... pero nagising ako ng 4am... wah... parang natulog lang ako ng tanghali... olats d na naman ako makatulog... nakatulog na ko ng 6am... huhuhuhuhu... wawa naman ako... hirap mag adjust... hahaha...
pero hayun... ginising naman ako ni joseph ng 8am... hahaha... olats... d naman ako nakapagpahinga... kain kami ng breakfast... buti na lang libre yung food... hehehe... then... labas kami... mga 17degrees sa labas... mejo malamig... nakashorts at tsinelas lang ako... pero nkajacket at bonnet ako.. hahaha... lamig... lakad kami... hnap ng kung anu ano.. an lalayo ng distance ng mga house/establishments dito... unlike sa pilipinas na dikit dikit... hahaha...

then kinuha namin baggage namin... buti naman at walang sira... ehehhee... then try kami magappalit ng dollars... olats... merong service charge na CAD$20... eh .9 lang ang isang USD... olats... sabi namin wag na lang...
then diretso kami sa limo section... eto taxi nila sa airport... hehehe... then... buti na lang mabait din yung driver...diretso kami dito sa staybridge suites...
ganda... malaki yung room... and oks na oks.. nga lang d ako makatulog... nyahaha... eto ata ang tinatawag na jetlag... 11pm na... pero sa manila is 11am... so gising na gising pa ko... nakatulog ako mga 1am... pero nagising ako ng 4am... wah... parang natulog lang ako ng tanghali... olats d na naman ako makatulog... nakatulog na ko ng 6am... huhuhuhuhu... wawa naman ako... hirap mag adjust... hahaha...
pero hayun... ginising naman ako ni joseph ng 8am... hahaha... olats... d naman ako nakapagpahinga... kain kami ng breakfast... buti na lang libre yung food... hehehe... then... labas kami... mga 17degrees sa labas... mejo malamig... nakashorts at tsinelas lang ako... pero nkajacket at bonnet ako.. hahaha... lamig... lakad kami... hnap ng kung anu ano.. an lalayo ng distance ng mga house/establishments dito... unlike sa pilipinas na dikit dikit... hahaha...

God's favor
last friday... we went to bulacan...
saturday.... post bday party celebration of my mom....
at villa reina resort.. at catmon...
so tired of bringing the things/equipments/tools/recipes/food to and from the place...
anyways..
i still enjoyed singing in the videoke and the swimming part...
after the celebration... have some rest...
then.. we treat them to the bibingka/putobumbong/tsaa place...
we ate and we enjoyed the tea...
the putobumbong... is great..
the bibingka too..
after that..
have some rest..
and we went home in makati early in the morning.. around 5am..
slept...
wake up at 1pm...
then went to church...
mejo late na ko... pero kelangan daw ng usher pa... lack of man power..
so yun...
nag usher ako... mejo maraming tao... tayuan na yung iba...
sa balcony ako naassign...
went well naman...
maganda yung sermon nung pastor..
"branded" yung series...
he talked about the lifestyle that we christians should have...
to love others...
we can love others because God first loved us...
by experiencing that.. we can chanel that love to others...
we christians should be an example by loving others...
reminded me on one of my devotions...
Karl Rahner said about the growing number of atheists..
"The number one cause of atheism is Christians. Those who proclaim God with their mouths and deny him with their lifestyles is what an unbelieving world finds simply unbelievable."
reminded me of one of my classmates way back in college... i just received a news about him that from being a christian.. he turned into becoming an atheist... a sad story.. but i do pray that he will still find out that there is still a God...

after church... i went to me's haus.
she joined me in buying stuffs for my onshore assignment...
bought some longsleeves and pants...
then we had some chitchat at serendra park...
ate an ice cream... then peanuts..
after that...
had some drinks... iced tea and sprite...
then went home...

wake up at 10.30am...
sent some emails regarding my onshore assignment...
if the visa wont arrive today...
we will need to cancel our flights for saturday and reshedule it to the next week...
emailed also regarding my amex card...
i texted some people to pray for the arrival of my visa...
after texting...
my colleague pop-ed me that the visa already arrived..
pooof!!!
answered prayer!!!

played badminton with my highschool friends.

had a lot of fun while playing badminton.

resolve
just blogging.
watched the heroes season 2 episode 1... something strucked me there... when a guy asked claire... are you a robot? or an alien?
robots do what they are told to...
aliens do what they want...
so i may consider myself as an alien...
i'll do what i want to do... but still submit to God's will... it's my choice... my decision
to listen to His will...
in relation to this... i finished reading the "anthem"... and it is still related to the topic -> your choice and decisions... must not do what others tell you... not do what they impose on you... you are what you are... you have your own choices... you have freedom...
and there is this 'group' that they tell their members what to do... what is evil and what is good... you have no identity as an individual... there are laws that must be obeyed.. rules that are implemented... in it... there is no grace and mercy... boring... you must submit to their authorities... or else... you will be removed from the group...
lessons learned...
i'll keep my faith no matter what...
God is good... all the time... does not change...
He works in ways I cannot see...
Praise the Lord..
I'm thankful there are brothers in Christ who without their knowledge encouraged me by a simple txt message... right in that moment where in i'm seeking for answers....
"whatever challenges life throws at you, just shake it off, step up, keep the faith! Gudam!"

ah... thank God for this simple message... a message that has a great impact in my current situation right now...
i know God did not forsake me... did not left me..
He is good...
while in the worship service... while singing the "Lord I offer my life to you..."
i realized something... if i were to offer my life to God, will it be a pleasing sacrifice before him... looking back when israelites make their offerings before God, they offer their best lambs... the best products... but for me... if i were to offer myself... will it be pleasing?... this sinful person that i am... i think it will have a bad smell if i were to be burned... abraham was ready to offer isaac before God because he knew... isaac was the best... and deserving to be offered to God... but me... if i were to be dissected and burn to be an offering before God... it will not please him... just like the offering of Cain... not the best... but the least...
after that... i remembered the message of the pastor... way back... according to grace... mercy... coming from God..
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
the grace of God will enable me to offer myself to Him... to be a pleasing sacrifice before him... His mercy endures forever...
found my resolve...
I will keep my faith... will continue on...
I will live for Him...

team building
we had a teambuilding last weekend...
at the forest club laguna...
the place, the food and the activities were great...
enjoyed all the activities... all the games and the food...
we arrived there around 10am or 11am...
the we went to our room and gathered... had a pre-game..
some trust games...
then after that, we ate lunch...
then, we praticed our team cheer....
played football after... coz i brought my size 3 Portugal football...
then.. had a break...
after that, the cheer competition began...
we did not won the cheering but we're not on the last place.. hehehe.
not bad..
then after that... the GAMES...
an amazing race type of game...
canopy walk...
tumbang preso..
bamboo rafting...
kadang kadang...
relay games...
haha... so many..
then... WE WON!!!
our team won...
hehehe..
not bad...
so tiring..
had some rest..
went to the pool... swim..
then dinner..
videoke..

then went to the pool again..
after that... when all is tired... went to sleep..
that was the most memorable teambuilding for me...
it was special..
this will be the last teambuilding for me in my current project...
coz i will be transfering to another project by october...

misadventure
we had another misadventure...
last night, me and i went to old spag haus to have a dinner. it was 7.30pm and i just parked my motorcycle in between two cars.
while eating our food and waiting for our other order to come, a waiter asked me if the motorcycle that was parked in front of the store is mine, and i said yes.
then he said, the motorcyle was towed. and there was something written on the floor. Go to YAKAL St...
ok. so i just cooled myself. finished our dinner then went to the police station. where a "tito" is working.
he accompanied me to the towing station and he talked to the officer in charge. they did not allow my motorcycle to be released.
we went back to the station. he made some calls. and after a few hours, because it was already late at night, he said that i'll just go back tomorrow.
there was this option that i will deposit 1000php to them, then they will release my bike... then my "tito" will just get it back after some processing.
or we will approach somebody that will waive the apprehension ticket.
so me and i just went home.
today. 9am, i went back to the police station. my "tito" made a call to this "official" who is a friend of the "bossing" on the towing...
so we just went to "bossing"... he told me to get the apprehension ticket... he put some note on it and presto. my bike was released. it was waived.
we thanked the "official" and my "tito" will go back to "bossing" to thank him. i also thanked my "tito" for that.
haay... another misadventure for PJ. hehehe.
lessons learned. dont park your bike in a car's parking area. watch your bike. be ready for the unexpected. pray. then talked to your "tito" if in need.

ok. so i just cooled myself. finished our dinner then went to the police station. where a "tito" is working.
he accompanied me to the towing station and he talked to the officer in charge. they did not allow my motorcycle to be released.
we went back to the station. he made some calls. and after a few hours, because it was already late at night, he said that i'll just go back tomorrow.
there was this option that i will deposit 1000php to them, then they will release my bike... then my "tito" will just get it back after some processing.
or we will approach somebody that will waive the apprehension ticket.
so me and i just went home.
today. 9am, i went back to the police station. my "tito" made a call to this "official" who is a friend of the "bossing" on the towing...
so we just went to "bossing"... he told me to get the apprehension ticket... he put some note on it and presto. my bike was released. it was waived.
we thanked the "official" and my "tito" will go back to "bossing" to thank him. i also thanked my "tito" for that.
haay... another misadventure for PJ. hehehe.
lessons learned. dont park your bike in a car's parking area. watch your bike. be ready for the unexpected. pray. then talked to your "tito" if in need.

up and coming changes because of decisions made
hear ye hear ye hear ye...
hehehe...
there will be upcoming changes in my life coz of the decisions i made. thankfully, God was there to guide me and He gave me a favor...
passed the interview... received the news yesterday from our manager... well... i'm excited but at the same time i'm nervous....
will i ever survive to a different place for 3 months twice? and the work i'll be doing there and the challenges i will encounter there representing the delivery center here in manila and as a lead... haaaayy.... buhaay.... ginusto ko to, so kelangan panindigan ko... hehehehe...
i need first to complete all the requirements so that i may be able to go there...
the place and time will be announced on the next blogs...
hehehe...
by the way, last saturday, i attended our year ender party in the company at the PICC forum.... pictures can be located here.

decisions again.... updates....
well... i already made the decision, to accept the opportunity that is there... in front of me... i had an interview and i hope it will turn out well... and be accepted in the role that they need.... a lead for java development... sounds nice right? but it will be complicated for me...
anways, any new happening about me? last august 11, went to manaoag, pangasinan and moncada, tarlac. i accompnaied my two friends, jong and franco for their scooters to be blessed and have some refreshments in the province.... take some shots in the church and some shots while riding our bikes... photos can be seen here.
well.. i participated in the ALL STAR game in our company's baskteball league... scored 9 points and had a great game... well.. for the first time, i won... we won, our team won... hahaha... not bad...
august 17, did some blood letting, watched bourne ultimatum, then had some get together at giligans with toti and project mates. pictures at our last gimik can be seen here. courtesy of toti godes..
august 19, bought a new dog from a friend... labrador... the purpose is to match it up to our dalmatian dog... its name is "Yilmaz" coz the name of our dalamatian is "Ruffa"... hahha... what a name... but the dog is cute and nice... "matakaw"... always asking for food... it never gets full... hahaha...
august 20, tried to play futsal... so nice to have another sport activity, it's a holiday, no work, so no badminton... so i tried futsal... my body aches after that and was not able to go to work early and i missed attending the lead's meeting... hahaha..
august 22, played futsal again, met our coach in the football team.. and it was nice playing with him... skills added... level up... hahaha..
today, august 23, had the interview... hopefully, i'll be accepted in that work, my manager told me that every person that was interviewed always say that the talk was ok and fine but eventually was turned down... i hope mine will be different... i pray to God for His will... hopefully... wishful... hehehe..

decisions to make
it's already august and there are decisions for me to make... take an opportunity outside the country or just stay to where i'm in...
so what now? i'm in a thinking mode everytime and before i go to sleep... haaayy...
still weighing things out... what are my priorities? save enough money for the future? or just stay to seek for another level... haaaayyy...
whatever happens... i believe God will not leave me for any decisions that I will make... still I will live in obedience to His will... to seek Him and know Him more...

i celebrated my 25th bday last sunday... and what can say? I thank God for that wonderful day and for blessing me for 25 years... never did I imagine that the Lord forsake me even though I always do something not good in His sight...
i attended the church early morning... then prepared the food... my two uncles and lot of my cousins arrived... we rented a videoke for 700php so we just sang to the max.... as in... I hosted the party myself... choosing songs and letting everyone sing it even if it's oldish or not... the family of my sister's husband were there too... so that's it... what i thought to be just a simple celebration ended to a great one...
then last monday... uhmm... i heard a good news... i was given the next level... thank God... i'm blessed... and i was asked what i want... so i'm still in the verge of thinking and deciding what i want... i told my manager that i need time to think it through... well... i said that i will give my decision friday next week or just after i decided...
the application that we are developing is already finish and we need to deliver it tomorrow and all we need now is to include validations and handling of exceptions... i pray that we can accomplish all these things... so help us God...
that's all for me for today and for the previous weeks...

last week... monday... we had a basketball game... we lost..
even scoring 24 points... still not enough..
wednesday... we watched harry potter.. a nice movie... according to reviews... this is one of the best potter movie ever... i like the setting... the sounds... and the plot of the story... though book readers of the potter still not satisfied... i'm satisfied... hahaha... coz i'm not reading the book... one of the things that i did to enjoy the movie is that i read the summary of the book before watching the movie... so as not to be left out... and good thing was i watched it with my friends from my previous project who happen to be reading those books of potter.... and i enjoyed watching it...
thursday... i joined the ballroom dance lesson... hahaha... though i already knew how to dance swing.. and boogie... i still joined them... coz they need people... hahaha... well i really enjoyed that...
after that i went to bistro... it was the eve of erwin's bday... so i joined their team in celebrating his bday... just one bottle of san mig light for me will do... coz i will still drive my motorcycle in going home....
saturday.... morning is for basketball practice... then went home ate lunch... then went to a primer on lighting of our photo group... shot some pictures on the model ... a brazilian model... she's pretty... enjoyed shooting and it was a nice experience... lessons learned... and enjoyed the company of my photogroup....
after that... went to my previous project's 5th year anniversary... and it was a great night and a party to enjoy... saw my previoues team mates and friends... and it was fun seeing them again... drank and half drunk... hahahaha... but still able to go home...
sunday... went to church.. then... after that.. we went to the house of one of the ushers... a bday celebration and a fellowship for all the ushers for 3pm service... we had a good night and i enjoyed having fellowship with them... we played a charade like game... and our team did not won... but still there was an ice cream for all of us after that... the food was nice and i was full... hehehe...

neu updates about me
getting used to this lead role... though i find it still tricky on my part... doing status reports... handoff emails... doing updates... updating files... communicating with counterparts... kinda cool huh!?!
well.. update about the badminton tournament? well... what can i say... we won!!!
hahaha!! we are the champion on our level (7)... it was a 6-0 (2 sets each and no loss)... cool huh!?!?! well.. i haven't get the trophy coz i went home immediately becoz i have another appointment...
i went to my college friend's wedding... they are college couple and i'm glad that eventually... they were still at the end... they end up in a wedding... so good for them...
still practicing for the basketball team... i'm more on conditioned right now... can cope up... but the ankle still hurts...
about my ankle injury... did some research about it... less pain but the form of my ankle is not back to its original form... so i think there is something wrong... someone advised me to verify it by having an mri test or something... maybe this week...
last saturday... watched transformers... cool.. a great movie... what a great movie... it's fun watching it... remembering those cartoons before... and now they made it realistic... robotic.. it's awesome... wonderful....

what now?
what now?
recently i've been busy here in my office.
doing stuffs i'm not usually doing.
a role of a sublead...
i'll be a sublead for this release. we only have small requirement, but i guess that will do...
there are additional admin tasks and more of supervising...
last week... we had some knowledge transitions and sessions on the new framework that we will be doing...
aside from work... there is this usual basketball game...
out last game.. we lost... but i'm more confident now in playing...
my injury... i'm getting better and better each day...
last saturday.. we had a basketball practice... it was still too hard for me to cope up with the other players because of my condition...
but still i survived... thank God..
Sunday.. i went home to bulacan and there we went to lunch with my family and relatives...
there we celebrated the Father's day...
monday... i attended the lead's meeting... did estimation on our requirement... submitted it to my lead...
tuesday... still... we did the estimation... together with my lead... we submitted it..
wednesday... our estimates were questioned by our offshore coordinator... did some adjustments with the estimates and started the detailed design...
thursday... doing detail design...
that's it for today...
this saturday ... i will compete for a badminton tournament... my partner is from my previous project.... hopefully we can win some games... whatever... just to enjoy the tournament... meet some new friends...

finished training
whoah. a week passed and finally training was over.
this week was not that great for me becoz everyday, i went to ortigas just to attend the training. monday and tuesday wasn't bad at all.. learned something about technical writing. kind of refreshing. it's not that fun though i enjoyed it becoz one of the attendees is my team mate in basketball. it's cool.
wed to friday was great. becoz i attended intermediate eng skills training. it was fun. i learned a lot and i do have fun. learned so many things.
training is over and i think that i can now go back to work.
back to reality i may say.
about our basketball game last thursday. we lost. ah. i'm getting used to it already. those losing streak. argghh... still suffering from the injury i got from the previous game. pak! bad trip naman...
in everything give thanks. there's always lessons to be learned. ayt?

long weekend
why.
weekend was up to monday because of the election.
but before that. i will first tell what happened last thursday in our basketball game. we lost again. and the saddest part was that i was injured.
it was hard for me to come to the training last friday. and i thank God for giving me the strength and let me survived that hard day. walked from 6750 to GT tower. woah. so difficult. but i must. so that i will not prolong my agony.
friday night was a farewell dinner/party for marvin. one of our officemates who will be rolling to another project and will be assigned on shore on the next few weeks.
midnight. we went to my dad's workplace to greet him happy bday.
the next morning. we went to bulacan to celebrate his bday. we went to Cool Waves. a nice place. i still went to swimming even though my ankle hurts.
saturday night. we went back to makati. worst thing was, our vehicle overheated. and we were stucked along edsa until 2-3am. aww man..
sunday. 3pm. went to church. then ate ice cream. chunky choco mocha for mom. becoz it's mother's day. went to dinner by 8pm at the roxas boulevard with my uncles and cousins and my family of course. dinner went well and did some videokes stuff after eating.
monday. went to vote. becoz it was election day. voted for just 4 senators hoping they will win. chiz, kix, ping, gring. just four of them.
went to sm moa after. ice skate. even if i'm still injured. hehee. saw a celebrity. say alonzo. then ate dinner at Kalye Juan. sinigang and sisig. great dinner. and went home.

today was the first day and it was so so..
haha.. i can't explain it...
we had a pre test and i think that i have so much to learn pa...
hehehe...

also, we will have an extemporaneous speaking... an advance part of presentation by our manager...

project outing
last saturday and sunday. we went to bolinao pangasinan... puerto del sol to be exact... for our project outing...
we depart here in makati by 2.30am..
we ate our breakfast at jollibee, bolinao....
then arrived there at 9.30am... almost 10am...
then after that we went to the land tour..
we went first to the watch tower... it was nice...

then went to the rock formations...
it was nice also...

after that we went to the enchanted cave...
inside the cave... there is a mini pool...
becoz it's so hot outside... i swam...
refreshing...
after that we went back to the resort itself...
ate lunch and checked in to our rooms...
4.00pm.. we had games... my team headed the activity and i think everyone enjoyed the game.. i think they enjoyed the dodgeball part the most...
after that.. we played football like game in the pool..
ate dinner... then swam...
drink drink drink...but never got drunk...
slept at around 2am...
then woke up by 7.30am...
ate breakfast...
played "bluff" using the play cards.

then checked out...2.30pm
ate dinner at a gasoline station..

losing streaks
i'm on the losing streak right now.
i'm speaking about basketball..
i really don't know how it feels like to win...
yeah i mean win games.
been a part of the company's basketball team...
and all i can remember is that we lost our last few games...
sad...
and then... been part of a basketball team in our barangay...
we only had three games...
but sad to say... we lost all three games...
and then this time...
in our project...
a company's basketball league...
we could have won the game if only we take good care of our advantage points...
we lacked defense in the end game and collapsed our offensive side.
although there is something good in it...
first time in my life that i scored this huge... |||-|||||| points.
a career high...
something that i haven't done in my life... to score something this huge...
i'm overwhelmed...
though it is still better if we could have won the game...
but still it must be a team effort...
there's no "I" in the word TEAM.
enough of it...

regular weekend for pj
Regular weekend.
My weekend is full packed.
Start with the morning last saturday.
badminton battle of the project men's doubles. i played badminton with jerome. we lost the first game. 0-2. the opponent are good but i think we could have beaten them. the next game was after lunch. we also lost 1-2. we could have won it all. the opponent had the chance to tie the game and breakaway in the last set. also i accidentally injured my team mate. what a loser i am.
next was volleyball after @ club 650. i rushed to get there. we also have a game earlier but wasn't able to show up. they lost it. when i arrived. they are blaming me that they lost the previous games because of me. what? what a loser i am. our game was against another project. we only won 2 sets. but still we won. 2-1. the set where we lose is so close. the score is 23-25. we could have won it all. \\
after that i go straight to meann's house. spent time with her. i am already sick and tired so she noticed it. we ate dinner, watched tv and i went home.
the next morning. sunday. praise God. i am still alive.
but my body aches. so i rose. it's 11am already. i fixed my motorcycle. changed oil and then i went to bulacan. i arrived 1.30pm. ate lunch. after that i attended ezra's and potpot's graduation. they are just nursery and kindergarten. i also took pictures for the whole event. the graduation.
after that. i ate. spaghetti, ice cream and sandwich. then i rushed to church. to attend the 7pm service.

What I learned today
Holiness
Many of us today are unaware of our personal holiness.
Some of us neglect it.
But in the Bible, it says that each one of us must be holy for our Lord is holy.
What do you mean by holy?
it means being separated. not doing things like the common people do. you are set apart.
flee from temptation
Being a member of the Body of Christ
we must not just be an attendee. we must be members.
attendees just watch and observe while members contribute and do something for the organization they belong to.

love God and love others
this morning, i was reminded that there are two things that i must do here on earth. to love God and to love others. loving God, worshipping Him in all I do.
love others as you love yourself. you can give without loving but you cannot love without giving.
loving also means giving your time to the person you are sharing your love. it's a sacrifice, yeah, but i know it is worth giving your time to them.
