whooah...
had a great ride this weekend. it was our moto club's team building in lago de oro. so we went there using our motorcycles.
lago de oro is in calatagan batangas, a 3-5 hours travel.
some of the members rode the bus while 19 of us used our own bikes. first time to have this kind of big group long ride. since i'm one of the squad, i was assigned to be one of the ride marshals. we took C5 from CG then to south service road then at alabang, daang hari, then to tagaytay.
stopped at tagaytay, gas refill, had some pictures taken then went to batangas. going down there. we broke the line coz many of us want to speed up because of the open road. so our speed ranges from 90 - 120++. hahaha. too fast. for me, i just maintain it from 90 - 100++. need to be cautious coz i dont want to encounter any accidents.
we stopped that the intersection in nasugbu to wait for the others. then after that, we went straight to the resort. (had one stop at shell to refill our gas tanks)
then at the resort. our bags were left in the bus and the bus already gone.
they called the bus and fortunately they went back to give our bags.
arrived at 2 or 3pm. ate our lunch. gathered. then went straight to the wake boarding area.
it's my first time to do this kind of sport. so something new to me. hehehe. it's water skiing mehn. awesome. but then, i just hit the first turn and then after that. the 1 hour is over. wah.
after that. played some 4on4 volleyball. then swimming in the pool. then swimming on the beach. after that, showered, changed clothes.
we gathered. had some introductions. we were 54 in the team building. so it was a long introduction for all of us. hahaha. while the group intro is going, i'm taking shots of the sunset. so wait for them. i think, it's a nice shot. hehehe. after the intro, we announce the groupings and then had a couple of team games.
after that, dinner. then we gathered them up again. for the remaining team building activities. they had the group yell. hehehe. some were good. some were not. eheheh.
another games. after that. drinking session na. hehehe.
kulitan with the core and squad inside the room. joking to one another and forcing two of our members to confess their love for each other, but we failed. they just told us that what they have right now is just platonic love. they are only friends. whoah. hahaha.
then videoke. then some chitchats with the other guys. then. shutdown. slept.
woke up around 7 or 8am. breakfast. then wakeboarding again.
i tried using the wake boards. yesterday, they let us used the knee board. so a different level of water skiing. at a first glance you might think that it's so easy. but it's not. so difficult. another set of instructions. was not able to stand using the boards. always crashing in the water as soon as i get the ropes. hahaha. will try it the next time. (planning to return on this place... hahaha...)
then. showered. packed up. then prepared to go home.
while packing up, we watched the paquiao - marquez II match and good to know that manny won. hahaha. saw manny knocking up marquez round 3. but i must agree that marquez nearly won that match because of the punches/counter punches that he gave to paquiao. but the knock down left a lasting impression on the judges. good thing he won. by just one point. a split decision.
well... after that we assembled and we go home. stopped at tagaytay to have our lunch. the place and food was nice. we saw some of apc members. coz they have a photo ops and they had their lunch there.
after that. went home. we took the zapote road. then airport road. then edsa. took ayala, while the group went straight back to GT. went home. had som rest. took a nap.
shower. then went to church 7pm service. so tired and sleepy already. but me wants me to go to their office so that we would be together in going to their home.
i fetched her at the mrt station. dinner. took some rest then went home.
that's it for my weekend. hehehe. :)
